About This Product This unit covers the Proper 18 through Proper 21 in Lectionary Year C. It is designed to help students understand 1) the importance and availability of repentance; 2) the wide-ranging consequences of human sin; 3) God's suffering love for His people; and 4) God's promise to heal and restore the damages of human sin.

Lesson 1: Repent, Receive, Remold- God created all people and has rule over them. He has the right to judge when they disobey or rebel. However, He also provides ample opportunity for people to repent and return to Him. (Jeremiah 18:1-11; Psalm 139:1-6, 13-18; Philemon 1-21; Luke 14:25-33)

Lesson 2: So What?! (Senseless in Sin)- Human rebellion against God destroys His creation and causes chaos across many relationships. However, God will keep the world from total destruction so that His ultimate goal of redemption can be accomplished. (Jeremiah 4:11-12, 22-28; Psalm 14; 1 Timothy 1:12-17; Luke 15:1-10)

Lesson 3: Never Alone-God feels sorrow and anguish when the people He loves suffer the consequences of their rebellion against Him. (Jeremiah 8:18-9:1, Psalm 79:1-9, 1 Timothy 2:1-7, Luke 16:1-13)

Lesson 4: Clay Jar of Promise-As God's people faithfully obey, God can and will heal whatever damage human sin has caused. (Jeremiah 32:1-3a, 6-15; Psalm 91:1-6, 14-16; 1 Timothy 6:6-19; Luke 16:19-31)
