| The game show It's Your Call welcomes back its returning champ, a wise contestant named King David. This week, the question posed to King David has to do with a poor man whose only possession was a ewe lamb. The animal was taken by a rich and powerful man to feed a guest in his house. King David correctly determines that, according to law, the rich man should be put to death. But in the Self-Application Lightning Round, King David fails to realize that he is the rich man in the story, having killed Uriah and taken his wife, Bathsheba. David leaves the show with no prizes, save for the home version of the game and Lord's forgiveness . . . but not without a substantial sacrifice. |
