This unit is designed to help students identify with the personhood of Christ and how their relationship with him can dramatically transform their lives.
Lesson 1: Word Became Flesh--Jesus, fully God and fully man, is the perfect expression of God's love for us, His children. (John 1:1-18)
Lesson 2: Beyond the Comfort Zone--No one can be Christ's disciple or truly be born again without making a radical commitment to Jesus Christ. (John 3:1-17)
Lesson 3: Can You Top This?--Jesus' miracles were intended to draw people into relationship with Him, not to entertain or gain fame. (John 6:1-33)
Lesson 4: The Servant King--The servanthood Jesus models for all Christians is an expression of His love at work for the good of others. (John 13:1-17)
Lesson 5: Friendship with Jesus--The truest friendship we will ever have is the one we have with Christ, which is a model for all our other relationships. (John 15:9-17; 21:15-19) |
