About This Product This unit uses the book of Galatians to teach practical guidelines that can help free teens from the pressures of guilt, competition, personal failure, and unrealistic expectations.

Lesson 1: The Foundation of Freedom--This lesson will expose and challenge the fallacy "If I do the right things, God will accept me" by exploring the liberating truth that acceptance by God is a sheer gift from Him. (Galatians 3:1-11, 23-25; Ephesians 2:8-9)

Lesson 2: Many People, One in Christ--This lesson is designed to help teens identify the barriers of prejudice and discrimination that they experience in their daily lives. They will explore ways to overcome those barriers and celebrate the freedom of our oneness in Christ. (Galatians 3:26-29)

Lesson 3: Purposeful Living--This lesson will help your students see God's purpose for the world in sending His Son and His purpose in the events of their lives as they live in accordance with His order and rhythm. (Galatians 4:4-7; Luke 2: Romans 5:6)

Lesson 4: Free to Serve--This lesson will help your students understand that Christian freedom does provide liberty and independence, but it also involves accountability, interdependence, and responsibility. It will guide them toward the purpose of Christian freedom: serving others in love. (Galatians 5:1, 13-14)

Lesson 5: Living by the Spirit--This lesson gives practical, specific directions for bearing good fruit by helping teens understand that it is the Holy Spirit who brings about an inward transformation of character that is then reflected in outward behavior. (Galatians 5:16-26) Topics: Acceptance, Accountable or Accountability, Discrimination, Diversity, Equality, Faith, Forgiveness, Free Gift, Freedom, Fruit of the Spirit, God's Children, God's Grace, God's Plan, God's Purpose, Holy Spirit, Prejudice, Responsibility, Unity
