Lesson 1: The Salvation Letters: Romans, 1 & 2 Corinthians, Galatians--Helps explain the term "justified by faith" and the importance Paul's message of salvation. (Romans 3:9, 21-26; 6:1-14; 12:1-2; 1 Corinthians 1:18-2:5; 2 Corinthians 5:10-21; Galatians 2:11-21)
Lesson 2: The Christ Letters: Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, Philemon--Paul preaches Christ in all of these letters, and this lesson explains his teachings concerning Christ and our own freedom in Christ. (Ephesians 1:3-2:10; Philippians 2:5-11; Colossians 1:9-20; Philemon)
Lesson 3: The Church Letters: 1 & 2 Timothy, Titus--Delves into Paul's instructions for churches and church leaders on how to manage their believers and the way they teach. (1 Timothy 1:3-7; 2:11-12; 3; 4:12; 5:17; 2 Timothy 1:13-14; Titus 1--2)
Lesson 4: The End Times Letters: 1 & 2 Thessalonians--Paul focuses on the end times in these letters, and this lesson emphasizes Paul's urge that we live prepared, but not carelessly. (1 Thessalonians 4:13--5:11; 2 Thessalonians 1--3) |
