Who Is God?

About This Product This five-lesson unit is designed to help teens discover and better understand who God is and how He works in our lives. Teens will explore the character of God and how His character affects our interaction with Him. The lessons in this study ill help teens 1) discover that knowing that God is a God of power and strength can make a difference in the way they live; 2) respond to God's unconditional love; 3) appropriate God's presence in their everyday lives; 4) open their lives to God's work through loving obedience; and 5) choose to go beyond knowing about God intellectually to knowing God personally.

Lesson 1: God Rules!--Recognizing God's power and strength can make a difference in the way we live. (2 Corinthians 5:17; Ephesians 3:14-21)

Lesson 2: God Cares for Us--God's love for us is unconditional. (Hosea 11:1-11; Luke 15:11-32)

Lesson 3: God Is with Us--God has always stood by and for His people and will continue to do so. (Isaiah 7:1-16; John 1:14)

Lesson 4: God Acts--God is actively involved in the world and desires to be at work in and through our lives. (Genesis 1:1-3; Psalm 78:12-16; Hebrews 1:1-3; Revelation 21:1-2; John 14:21)

Lesson 5: Getting to Know God--The Bible teaches us about God, but to know God personally requires us to have a faith relationship with Him.
