About This Product The parables of Jesus are rich with meanings that are relevant today. An important part of teaching these lessons will be getting your students excited about learning directly from Jesus through His parables. For students who perceive the Bible as old and irrelevant, but who also have lots of questions and a deep desire for answers, Jesus' parables are an exciting opportunity to grow spiritually.

Lesson 1: The Soil of the Soul--Once we choose to accept the gift of God's love, we are then responsible to provide the proper environment for it to grow and bear fruit. (Luke 8:5-15)

Lesson 2: Consider the Cost--God encourages us to examine the cost of following Him before we do so. We must be wiling to give up our possessions, relationships, and interests if our loyalty to them interferes with our loyalty to God. (Luke 14:25-33)

Lesson 3: It's Hard to be Humble--God graciously allows us to serve Him. Therefore, we are to live in humble gratitude, not expecting special praise for what we are called to do. (Luke 17:7-10)

Lesson 4: Free for All--Because God gives His grace freely, it may be given in ways and to those who we don't expect. As Christians, we have to trust that God's generosity is best. (Matthew 20:1-16)

Lesson 5: Are You Ready to Party?--Christians are to be ready at all times for Christ's second coming. (Matthew 25:1-13, 31-46) Topics: Following Christ, Generosity, God's Love, Grace, Humbleness, Loyalty, Parables or Parable, Possessions, Relationships, Relationship, Second Coming of Christ, Service, Serving
