About This Product This unit covers four Easter Sundays in Year C. It is designed to help students understand the characteristics of God s kingdom on earth; the importance of the resurrection; the resurrected Christ as our source for Christian life and service; and God s mercy and forgiveness when we fail to live up to our identity and calling as disciples.

Lesson 1: A New Kind of Kingdom--God s rule comes into our world through the peace and joy that Christ brings. (John 12:12-16; Luke 19:28-40; Psalm 118:1-2, 19-29; Isaiah 50:4-9a; Philippians 2:5-11)

Lesson 2: Turning Point--The resurrection of Jesus from the dead is the turning point of all history, making a way for all people to have forgiveness and spiritual life. (Acts 10:34-43; Psalm 118:1-2, 14-24; 1 Corinthians 15:19-26; John 20:1-18)

Lesson 3: Faith Seekers --A personal encounter with the risen Christ is the key to a vibrant Christian faith; he can calm our fears, turn disappointment into hope, empower us for ministry, and ease our doubts. (John 20:19-31; Acts 5:27-32; Psalm 118:14-29, Psalm 150; Revelation 1:4-8)

Lesson 4: Beyond God s Grace? Think Again --Although Peter denied Jesus (three times), Jesus gave Peter the opportunity to reaffirm his love (three times). This gives us hope that God will show us mercy and acceptance when we fail to be the disciples we should be. (Acts 9:1-6 (7-20); Psalm 30; Revelation 5:11-14; John 21:1-19)
