About This Product This four-week series is based on the film The Lion King. As you move through the series you will help students understand 1) the seductive power of sin and its potentially dangerous consequences, 2) the importance of living a balanced life, one that doesn't lean toward being too lazy or too stressed, 3) the difference between God-induced sorrow and Satan-induced guilt, and 4) the ways in which we've been equipped to fight the daily spiritual battles.

Lesson 1: Dancing with Sin--The goal of this lesson is help students discover the manipulation of temptation, the harmful effects of personal sin on others, and the scary consequences of living outside our Father's perfect plan. (Genesis 2:15-17; 3:1-13; 1 Peter 5:8, 2 Corinthians 2:11; 11:14; Ephesians 6:11-17)

Lesson 2: Hakuna Matata--The goal of this lesson is to help students compare the concept of "Hakuna Matata" with one of Jesus' important teachings from the Sermon on the Mount, and then find both truth and mistakes in the "no worries" philosophy. (Matthew 6: 25-34; 1 Peter 5:7)

Lesson 3: Guilt Trip--The goal of this lesson is to learn how Satan infects us with guilt and remorse, and to distinguish between God-induced sorrow and Satan-induced guilt. (2 Corinthians 5:17; Matthew 11:28-30; John 16:7-8)

Lesson 4: Fighting Evil--The goal of this lesson is to understand how we've been equipped to fight the daily spiritual battle life holds for Christians, and to live with hope in Jesus Christ, who brings restoration. (Ephesians 5:15-21; Matthew 5:14-16; Deuteronomy 30:2-5)
