About This Product This unit covers the Sundays after Easter 2-5 in Lectionary Year B. It is designed to help students understand the resurrection of Christ and the possibility of a sinless life.

Lesson 1: See the Scars--This lesson's theme is "Believing in the Resurrection." The Resurrected Jesus appeared to the disciples to show them that He had risen from the dead. Even in Thomas' doubts, Jesus offered him evidence for believing in the resurrection. Do we know the evidence of the resurrection? Have we drawn close enough to Jesus to see His scars and believe? (Acts 4:32-35; Psalm 133; 1 John 1:1-2:2; John 20:19-31)

Lesson 2 Free From Sin!--This lesson's theme is "Repentance and life without sin." God calls us to turn from our sinful ways and live for Him. Jesus has the power to take away our sin, and give us new life, a life of repentance and obedience. What does it mean to live in God's love, and live without sin? How can I live without sin? (Acts 3:12-19; Psalm 4; 1 John 3:1-7; Luke 24:36b-48)

Lesson 3: All About Love!--This lesson's theme is "Resurrection Love in Action." The love of Jesus is our model for love in the world--He gave everything for us. Have we gotten into the habit of only talking about love and not loving in action? What does it mean to love in action and in truth? (Acts 4:5-12; Psalm 23; 1 John 3:16-24; John 10:11-18)

Lesson 4: The Source--This lesson's theme is "Being in the vine." The only way to live for Christ is by being connected to Him. In the same way that a branch draws its life from the vine, we draw our life and spiritual strength by remaining in Christ. (Acts 8:26-40; Psalm 22:25-31; 1 John 4:7-21; John 15:1-8) Topics: Death and Dying, Disciples, Disciple, Doubt, Easter, Empty Tomb, Giving, Holiness, Love, Obedience, Purity, Repent or Repentance, Resurrection, Sacrifice, Sanctification, Sanctify, Sanctified Holy, Sinless, Thomas or Doubting Thomas, evidence, perfection, strength
