About This Product This unit covers Pentecost Sunday through the Third Sunday after Pentecost in Lectionary Year A. During this unit students will understand the power of the Holy Spirit, the Trinity, how to show love, and God's guidance.

Lesson 1: Mission Possible--The theme of this lesson focuses on how God gives the Holy Spirit to believers in order to give them power to live a godly life and to be a witness for God (Acts 2:1-21; Psalm 104:24-35b; 1 Corinthians 12:3-13; John 20:19-23)

Lesson 2: Blessed Trinity-- The theology of the Trinity is a difficult concept to understand. We affirm that there is one God, and this God is three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Teaching this belief in a way that teens can understand is a difficult task. This lesson will look at the biblical foundations of the theology of the Trinity (Genesis 1:1-2:4a; Psalm 8; 2 Corinthians 13:11-14; Matthew 28:16-20).

Lesson 3: Living the Life of Jesus--The theme of this lesson focuses on the truth that our lives sing in conjunction with God s song that started in Creation, when we turn from sin and choose to show love in the smallest things we do (Psalm 89:1-4; 15-18; Jeremiah 28.5-9; Matthew 10.40-42; Romans 6.12-23).

Lesson 4: Relax, He's Got You Covered--The theme of this lesson is God's faithfulness. God was faithful to Isaac to provide a wife for him. This story reminds us of the faithfulness of God in the midst of our major decisions (Genesis 24). Romans reflects on the faithfulness of God in the midst of our struggles with sin. The Matthew passages remind us that when we turn to God with our troubles and we "take His yoke" upon ourselves, He will guide us and carry our burden (Genesis 24:34-38, 42-49, 58-67 and Psalm 45:10-17; Romans 7:15-25a; Matthew 11:16-19, 25-30).
