About This Product Lesson 21: The Exile--When Israel breaks their covenant with God by placing their faith in kings and the Temple rather than in Him, God uses the prophet, Jeremiah, to call Israel back to the covenant. When Israel refuses to change, God allows the nation to be overthrown by the Babylonians, who send the Israelites into exile. (Jeremiah 4:5-8; 11:1-23; 2 Kings 25:1-21)

Lesson 22: Daniel--Daniel was faithful to God and to God's commands. God honored Daniel's faith by rescuing him from harm. Daniel's courageous faith made it possible for others to hear about God. (Daniel 6)

Lesson 23: Esther--When Esther made herself fully available to God for His purposes, God saved Esther's nation from annihilation. (Esther 1--10)

Lesson 24: Return from Exile: Ezra/Nehemiah--Following 70 years of exile, God shows His covenant faithfulness by allowing Israel to return home from captivity. Upon returning to Jerusalem and rebuilding the temple, God's people follow Him but face opposition from within and without. (Ezra 1:1-5; 3:1-13; Nehemiah 1:1-4; 2:11-18; 4:1-4, 8-14; 6:15-16; 9:13) Topics: Availability, Covenants, Covenant, Daniel, Esther, Ezra, Faith, God's Faithfulness, Jeremiah, Nehemiah, Return from Exile, The Exile, Trust or Trust in God
