About This Product

This unit is designed to help students understand that as humans, we are allowed contact with God, we are made in the image of God, and God approaches us first.

Lesson 1: What is Truth?

The purpose of this lesson is to begin looking at the biblical understanding of truth, and to help students understand four different philosophical perspectives on God. (Genesis 3; Exodus 3:1-10; John 1:1-18)

Lesson 2: Who Are We?

Encourages students to investigate "who they are" in terms of biblical revelation--what does Scripture say? (Genesis 1:26-31; Genesis 3; Psalm 8:3-8)

Lesson 3: How Do We Find Truth?

Exploring the ways in which God chooses to reveal himself. Students will learn about three points of view on revelation. (Acts 1:1-2; Hebrews 1:1-4)

Lesson 4: How Do We Encounter God?

Invites students to know and experience God, rather than just know about God. (Exodus 3:13-17; 34:5-9; 1 John 1:1-2:6)
