Worship in the Life Of the Church

Lesson 2: A Sacred Assembly--This lesson focuses on the importance of "community" worship, of gathering together with fellow believers to worship our Creator. (Leviticus 23; Nehemiah 13:15-22; Isaiah 58:13-14; Colossians 3:16; Hebrews 10:25; Revelation 21:3-4, 22)

Lesson 3: A Special Day?--This lesson studies the meaning of the word "Sabbath," and discusses its specific importance, explaining why we "rest" and worship at all, and why we do it when we do. Lesson 4: The Activities of Worship--This lesson examines the different worship styles and ways that different denominations choose to worship and asserts that as long as we follow the basic principles, we need not worry about the manner in which our corporate worship is executed.
