About This Product Becoming a World Christian teaches young people what it means to be a world Christian and how to become one. Students will learn how to recognize the needs of a racially and culturally diverse world. They will come to understand that we are all created equal by God, and they will see how that plays out in everyday life.

Lesson 1: That the World May Know--God intends for the Church to be global. Christians are responsible for sharing the gospel with all people everywhere. (John 10:14-16; Luke 3:6; John 17:20-23).

Lesson 2: Appreciating the Differences--Because God created all people as equals, He challenges us to see each other from His perspective. (Acts 10; 1 Samuel 16:7; Galatians 3:26-29).

Lesson 3: His Power Is Available--We have power through God to be world Christians. (2 Peter 1:3; John 15:5-10; Matthew 4:2-4; Luke 6:12; John 8:42).

Lesson 4: A Place in This World--Our mission as Christians involves changing the world for Christ. When we seek God's will, He provides places and outlets for our ministry. (Ephesians 2:10; Romans 12:6-8; 1 Corinthians 1:26-27; 2 Timothy 1:8b-9; 2 Peter 1:10).

Lesson 5: The World at Your Doorstep--Each of us can impact our community for God by always being available and ready to help those in spiritual and physical need. (1 John 3:16-20; Luke 10:25-37; Matthew 25:14-28). Topics: Calling or Call, Cross-cultural or cross cultural, Culture or Cultures, Diversity, Equality, Ethnicity, Global, Global Christianity, Ministry, Races, Race, Service, Spiritual Gifts, World, World View, prayer
