This four-week Bible study is based on the movie Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith. Revenge of the Sith is the third episode in the Star Wars epic series. This particular film chronicles Anakin Skywalker's lust for power, which begins with the desire to protect his wife and unborn children. However, when Anakin is overcome with the fear of losing his wife, we witness his swift and steady progression toward joining the Dark Side-a decision that results in the betrayal of his family, his friends, and himself.
Lesson 1: Conquering Fear--To help students understand the roots of fear and recognize the path to peace. (1 John 4:13-21)
Lesson 2: Greater Things--To help students experience God's power more fully in their lives. (John 14:8-14)
Lesson 3: Learning to Trust--To help students learn to trust that God has set up rules to protect them from the consequences of sin. (Genesis 3:1-19)
Lesson 4: Staying True--To help students learn how to live lives that are holy and pleasing to God. (Romans 7:15-25) |
