About This Product This four-week series on The Two Towers deals with trust and hope. As you move through this study, you will 1) gain a deeper understanding of what trust involves and learn that God is completely trustworthy; 2) understand that evil is often concealed, but is exposed and powerless in the light; 3) discern the difference between temptation and sin and understand how to overcome temptation; and 4) claim the hope we have in Jesus Christ and persevere because of that hope.

Lesson 1: Trust--This lesson's goal is to admit that it's hard for us to trust others because we've been let down, and that makes it hard to trust God. It moves on to discuss how even the disciples had trust issues, but Jesus, who is utterly trustworthy, reassured them. (John 14:1-14)

Lesson 2: Exposing Evil--This lesson will help teenagers to better discuss the greatest tool of evil--deception. It examines how evil loves to hide in the dark, but crumbles when it is exposed to the light. (John 3:16-21)

Lesson 3: Temptation and Sin--This lesson's goal is to help teens distinguish between sin and temptation, and understand they have the power to withstand temptation without sinning. (Romans 7:14-25)

Lesson 4: Hope--This lesson will help teenagers consider the role hope plays in their lives, as well as what the source is of that hope. (Colossians 3:1-4; Luke 6:35-36) Topics: Evil, Hope, Sin, Sins, Temptations, Temptation, Trust or Trust in God
