Relationships

Session 1: Made for Relationship--We were made for relationship, and we were made out of relationship. When the Trinity-Father, Son, and Spirit-desired to express their relationship, they created us-human beings. When God desired to reveal himself to us, He did it through the relationship of His Son, Jesus.

Session 2: Friendship- God designed friendship for us and there are some great examples in the Bible: Adam and Eve, David and Jonathan, Daniel and the three Hebrew guys, Jesus and John the Baptist. The most amazing friendship of all, however, is us and God-each of us is a friend of God.

Session 3: Beloved-Not all of us are comfortable with the concept of God being the lover and ourselves being the loved. Yet the whole story of God is that of a loving Creator pursuing His beloved-His children. .

Session 4: The Voice of God-We serve a Living God-a God who speaks to us. We must learn to recognize His voice as we grow in our relationship with Him. He speaks to us through His Creation, through prayer, through His Word, and straight to our hearts.
