Life in Christ

Outline 1: New Creation-- Our lives without Christ are formless and without substance. However, giving our lives to Christ offers us a new opportunity, and we experience new life. (2 Corinthians 5:17, Genesis 1)

Outline 2: Drink Up-- Only Jesus, the living water, can provide true satisfaction for our thirsty souls. (John 4:7-30)

Outline 3: Good Soil-- Our lives and hearts need to be ready for the work of God in our lives. We can do that by cultivating the soil. (Mark 4:1-20)

Outline 4: Fruit of the Spirit-- The fruit of the Spirit is the natural outflow of our lives with Christ. These characteristics--love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control-are the result of and response to God's work in our lives.
