About This Product

Session 1: Sabbath Slumber-- The Bible says to keep the Sabbath holy, but, what exactly is the Sabbath? What does it mean to observe it and keep it holy? Some of us grow up thinking that a Sabbath rest is a nap on Sunday afternoon after church, but it definitely entails more than that.

Sabbath Living-- Part of our responsibility as humans is to recognize the human needs around us and to do what we can to meet those needs-no matter what day it is. Part of keeping the Sabbath is service to others.

Session 3: Real World Sabbath-- Social pressures often cause us to use real courage in order to honor God. The world will always ask for our loyalty by bidding for our time, talents, and treasures. Loving God with all of our heart means we make honoring Him a priority. How we do that is the object of this lesson.

Session 4: Group Sabbath-- The greatest commandments are to love God and our neighbor as ourselves, which is impossible if we never break our isolation and join with others. This lesson takes a look at how we can observe Sabbath together. Topics: Community, Courage, Holiness, Loving God, Obedience, Priorities, Rest and Relaxation, Sabbath, Service or Services, honor, pressure
