Leaving the past Behind

Session 1: Tomorrow Looks Better-- This lesson takes a look at human history and our past. We've made some mistakes. God, however, comes to us even in our moments of mistakes. He offers a real hope for our future-one that is not controlled by our past.

Session 2: Pass the Salt--Students will be reminded that knowing where we've come from can be helpful, but too much emphasis on our pasts can hurt us. It's healthier for us to focus on what lies ahead, especially when God asks us to move forward.

Session 3: Spare Change?--Some changes are so important that nothing can be the same afterwards-we are forever changed. Accepting Christ, and allowing God to transform our lives through His Spirit, is one of those changes.

Session 4: Stay Tuned-- Students will be made aware that what lies ahead is where we draw our today from-and it has already begun. We can become active participants in God's new creation, by being in Christ, reconciled to God. We have become instruments in His being reconciled to the World.
